Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Parish
will celebrate its 25th anniversary on
Good Shepherd Sunday, April 25, 2010.
A calendar of events planned
for the anniversary year is listed below.

August 2009 - The parking lot of Sacred Heart Church
was sealed, recoated and new lines painted for parking.

September 2009 - The parish kicks off a capital
campaign to cover the costs of the upcoming renovations and events.
The goal is $100,000.00. Campaign packets were distributed to
the parishioners on the weekend of September 12 & 13.

October 17, 2009
- 50's Oldies Dance in the Parish
Center.

November 2-7, 2009 - Lifetouch Studios will be on
hand to take photographs of parishioners and their families for
inclusion in a parish pictorial directory.

November 2-December 13, 2009 - The interior of Good
Shepherd Church will be completely painted in preparation for
the 25th anniversary celebration. The building will be
completely closed during these dates and all liturgies will take
place at Sacred Heart in Braddock Hills.

January 30-February
3,
2010 - Paul Koleske, nationally known musician,
recording artist, parish Mission leader will be on hand to lead a Parish
Mission at Good Shepherd. Paul will speak at all weekend
Masses January 30 & 31, and lead our Parish Mission, Sunday January
31; Monday, February 1; Tuesday, February ; and Wednesday, February
3. Evening Mission events will be held at Sacred Heart.

March 28, 2010 - The St. Ferdinand Youth Group from
Cranberry Twp. will be here to perform "The Living Stations" in Good
Shepherd Church. 7:30 PM

April 25, 2010 - Good Shepherd Sunday, 10:00 AM Mass,
Good Shepherd Church. Bishop Zubik will be the main celebrant.
Chamber Choir and instruments. The 9:00 and 11:00 AM Masses
will be canceled on that day so that everyone can attend the
anniversary liturgy at 10:00 AM with the bishop.

July
17, 2010 - The music ministry will present a
dinner/show event at 6:00 PM, following the 4:00 PM Mass. An evening of secular and sacred music
entertainment with dinner. Braddock Fire Hall on Talbot
Avenue. Tickets will be sold in advance.

November 1, 2010 - The Chamber Choir will present a
performance of Maurice Durufle's Requiem with organ and orchestra on
the feast of All Saints.
